Kiran Rajshekar, born on 26 April 1993, is a Bangalore based artist. He is quite comfortable with making prints by etching on zinc or through lithograph, lino-cut and wood block. Though these mediums are time-tested, he uses them effortlessly and in his own way. Often used subjects are human beings trying to escape from constricted ambience. Probably some autobiographical element is inherent in these depictions.

Most of his etchings are small formats and they are done in technics known as aquatint and spit-bite. He has also used acid etching comfortably. What is evident from his creative work is his total commitment and passion in creativity.
