About The Work

Homage in Hybrid is an evening length solo recitation about the troubles, joys, pleasures and pains of being a migrant who lives away from his country of origin. What is the meaning of ‘home’ in a world where our sense of belonging is constantly skewed by our interests and passions? How does language hold purpose when everybody speaks in different tongues? Is this globalized, technologically intertwined world serving us, or are we serving it?
