Description of the Show
Vajra or the diamond evokes indestructibility, brilliance, immortality, unbridled power, enlightenment, Shakti and tangible forms of the permanence of divinity. The underlying theme of this production is that the human spirit, capturing and radiating brilliance, is also an indestructible force and a weapon that wields wisdom.
An exciting mixed media production with 8 collaborators that encompasses original music, photographic art, interactive multimedia design, costume design, literature (ancient, esoteric and modem), and Martial arts with Dance.
About Madhu Nataraj:
Madhu is a performer, choreographer, educator and arts entrepreneur. She studied Kathak ( from Dr Maya Rao & Chitra Venugopal), Indian martial arts, contemporary dance, ritualistic/folk dance idioms & Yoga.
Having trained in contemporary dance in New York, Madhu returned to India with a vision to create a unique dance company with its own distinctive contemporary Indian dance identity – the Natya STEM Dance Kkampni. Madhu is often invited to perform, design, head panels and Choreograph for prestigious cultural organizations across countries and was chosen as one of India’s 50 young achiever’s by ‘ India today’.
