The Alliance Française de Bangalore was established in 1970 as part of the world’s most renowned network of French Language centres. It offers French language courses to over 2500 students each year, prepares for internationally recognised diplomas awarded by the French Ministry of National Education, designs special training programs for companies, conducts short-term survival French classes for professionals, students and individuals leaving for France or Francophone countries…
Set in a student-friendly, green environment, students have the privilege of being taught by experienced specialized teachers. The method of teaching is modern and interactive. The convivial atmosphere and the culture-infused approach makes learning a delightful experience.
The Director is appointed by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs and, along with the Course Director, is a French professional. The Board (“Executive Committee”) is made up of 8 eminent local personalities from the language, cultural, academic and corporate worlds, putting their skills and experience at the service of the development of the institution.
The Alliance française organises regular cultural events all-year round benefitting from exceptional premises with a 250-seat auditorium, a cinema room, an art gallery, a media centre, a cafeteria and outdoor spaces.
