Our library – The Médiathèque Simone de Beauvoir – warmly welcomes you to join our community of learners in their search for ‘la merveille’ (a sense of wonder) ! 🙂

In our library, you can:

• leaf your way through our various magazines; 
• mull over our expansive collection of poetry, novels and stories 
• refer to our dictionaries, textbooks and Student library (for all levels) 
• Explore our cosy Children’s Corner (plonk yourself on a bean bag with some comics!)

Join the library community:

If you’d like to just read in the library, you’re most welcome to visit free (no membership needed!)

However, if you’d like to borrow books and media from the library, you can easily get a library subscription:

Just come down to our library and fill up the membership form (subscriptions starting from Rs. 295 for three months). Don’t forget to bring two passport photographs along with you!

Library membership is free for students already enrolled in a French course @ AFB. For any information or queries, send an email to the library educator ([email protected]).

(Most events are free and open to all, and conducted across English and French!)
