The Mysore Chapter of the Alliance Française de Bangalore was launched in April 2009. It is housed in a small semi-independent premises attached to the bustling Mahajana First Grade College campus in Jayalakshmipuram, one of the premier residential localities in Mysore.

General French language classes for A1, A2 and B1 levels and tailor-made language classes for the corporate sector and the educational institutions are offered at the centre. Week-end classes are also underway. Apart from three Indian teachers, trained by the Embassy of France to teach French, the Mysore Chapter also receives qualified volunteers from France who help teach French and assist in organizing cultural activities.
